Remembering the summer holidays

I heard laughing and screaming.

I heard the loud music in my ears.

I saw presents wrappers crunched on the floor.

I felt happy when my names got called out.

I felt nervous of what I was going to get.

I wondered what was under the wrapping paper.

I wondered what kind of present I was going to be.

The Summer Learning Journey for NEXT Foundation from Next Foundation on Vimeo.

The NEXT foundation came to visit Panmure Bridge School. Rachel from the Summer Learning Journey came to talk about the 2017/2018 SLJ. The CEO of The NEXT Foundation also talked about how the Summer Learning Journey is really helpful and can help us improve on our reading and writing. Daniel was the star of the movie that the Next Foundation had created about the Summer Learning Journey. I found the movie really awesome and I saw lot's of my classmates in it. After the assembly the NEXT foundation was kind enough to give us a yummy lunch.

Teamwork

Today I have made a DLO about how to use team work with your team mates. Here is some  step about teamwork is when a group of people work together as team  and  communicating with other people.

This week our focus was sharing a message with our Community. This DLO was created to share with Room one and our message was about how we can look after our teeth. We had to use words and find pictures that were easy for the younger children to understand so that they could clearly get our message.

Something I have read or watched that is like this is Blaze the forensic of fire. This book also involves how they investigate a fire and they explain what happened in the victim's house. It tells us why it is important to find out what happened at the place of the fire and they find out why that person did it unless it was sent by someone inside the house that was probably cooking our someone was playing with the lighter or the matches.	Something I know about that is like this is accidental fires can occur when candles are left unattended and lightning strikes can hit tree or people's homes  causing naturally occurring. Arsonists are people who intentionally set fire. Fire investigators at the scene of a school fire and  to investigators find  out where the fire started. food tech

 Today at food tech  we made a mini spaghetti  pies with Mrs Heck. First we got our equipment ready then we  had to get some pastry. After we put the cheese and Spaghetti together then we had to make a circle in the pasty with a cup.After we flatten  it down then we put  it  into muffin trays.
